Christmas Is Almost Here!

Tis that time of year again that the snow starts to fall and I get to clean out my bank account for gifts for the family. I do love Christmas time more than any other time of year tho. It just is a great happy feeling that I get when December comes around and I want to just stop doing everything and think about Christmas and the holiday break. I will definetly have to push myself these last couple weeks of class so that I keep my grades were they are at and they do not take a plung. Again for the tenth year in a row I still have yet to start my Christmas shopping and it is already almost a week into December. I am the altimate procrastinator when it comes to Christmas shopping, last year I wait until 3 days before to start my shopping. But even tho I wait until the last minute I seem to always pick out gifts that my parents like. Or maybe they really hate them but are too nice to say anything! lol I think that this year I'm gunna break my trend and do my shopping next week so that I beat the 99% of other guys that do there shopping in the last week. Well thats about all I have today. Have a merry Christmas and New year, until next time!

66' Ford Fairlane

Once again, I forgot to write a blog for last week, it just keeps slipping my mind. My life has been extremely busy lately and the free time I do have, I don't want to spend on homework. But now I am writing, which is the important thing. I can't remember the last time that I wrote so I'll start from the beginning. About two weeks ago I was told that I could take my Dad's first car out of my grandma's garage. The car is a two door 1966 Ford Fairlane with a 289 V8 engine and an automatic transmission. I have been trying to convince my grandma to give it to me for the last 5 years and finally she is letting me, so I am pumped. I went over to her house 4 times last week to work on the car and try and get it running to no avail. I had to pump up all the tires and replace one of them. Along with pumping up the tires the car was buried under a pile of old junk and nicknack's. It took me two full days to dig the car out of its garage burial spot. This Thursday me and my uncle will be removing it from the garage and towing it to my dad's storage shed where it will spend its winter and then next spring, will be worked on. So that's what I have been doing this past week, along with school, homework and work. Until next time...

Another Exciting Day!

I don't know really know what to right about so I'll just start by talking about how my day went today. I first slept in until 11 A.M. since it is the first week that I don't have class on Monday. My 8 week Intro to Business Management Course had just ended and I had gotten an A in it which made me happy. I then took a shower and cleaned myself up. After getting dressed I made my bed and cleaned up the pigsty, I call my room. Then since I have been procrastinating on many of my assignments I decided that I would work on some homework. I then worked on Intro to Microcomputers and Intro to Business homework for the next few hours. Then I thought to myself that I had also been forgetting to do my blogging assignments so I wrote this blog. And while I was writing this blog the phone rang and one of those annoying political recordings was on. I immediately hung up the phone and said a few choice words. I am SO SICK of hearing about the election that I am almost thinking about not even voting. But that is a little harsh and I am still going to vote. I have seen enough commercials on TV of each politician this past year to last me a lifetime. I do not mind television ads because you can always change the channel, but when they call your house I think it is a violation of my privacy. And the funny thing was, is that It wasn't even a real person, it was a recording. A recording of Hilary Clinton endorsing Obama which I thought was hilarious because they were at each others throats earlier this year. I just can't wait until after Tuesday that I will not have to listen to any more campaign ads or answer any more Hilary Clinton telephone calls. Until four years from now AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Worked on my car/ Wishlist

Well, today I worked on my car and polished the rims and washed the whole car. I also polished my cold air intake and my exhaust. I took apart my shifter and tightened the bolts since it was becoming a little loose. After my car was all detailed I drove to Mike's house and took some pictures in Coon Valley. We took the pictures out in the country by a cool rock formation and they turned out awesome. I plan on putting in a Hellion Twin Turbo next summer which should push my horsepower to around 400rwhp. Then the next summer after that I plan on putting on a Saleen S281 Rear spoiler and getting new cylinder heads and intake manifold. Also I plan on getting forged pistons and rods and crankshaft. I will also get Comp. Cams and get a new 2004 Cobra Aluminum block. Another thing that I will get will be Nitto drag radials and Ford racing 3.73 rear gears. Hopefully my horsepower numbers will be around 650rwhp. I would also like to get a Momo steering wheel and Autometer guages. Well that pretty much sums up my wish list for my car. Until next time...

Weekend Plans!!!

This weekend is going to be awesome. First on Friday night its the last Street Drags of the year at West Salem. Hopefully my car will run fast and I'll win a few races. On Saturday its the Oktoberfest parade, which will be a blast hanging with a bunch of friends that I haven't seen in a while. Then Saturday night I'm off to Minneapolis to the Hot Import Nights which I've never been to but I heard is awesome. The import cars, girls, partying, and music, I can't wait. Then on Sunday I'll go to the Oktoberfest car show and then hit the fest grounds later on that night with a few friends. This weekend is going to be AWESOME, I CAN'T WAIT!!!! I'll have to get through 8 long hours of working construction tomorrow until the weekend is finally here though. I almost forgot, the Brewers are also playing the Cubs three times this weekend to determine if they make the playoffs. The Brewers are tied with the Mets for the NL Wild Card spot, it's been 26 years since the Brewers made the playoffs, I really hope that they can pull it off. I just finished watching tonight's game, and it was intense. Ryan Braun hit a grand slam in the 10th inning to give the Brewers the win, and to keep them in pace with the Mets, who had already won earlier tonight. Well, since I'm talking about sports I might as well talk about the Packers, who play the Tampa Bay Bucs this Sunday. I hope I have enough time this weekend to get to watch it, since it's supposed to be a very close game. Well I'm done blabbering, until next time.

Did Assignment 3 Times!

Tonight I was very very angry at myself for not reading the directions fully for an assignment in my Intro to Business class. I ended up doing the assignment three times because I didn't read the directions completely the first time, and thoroughly the next time. I did finally get it done after I wasted two hours doing the wrong assignment. I definetly will learn from this mistake and I will always read the directions fully so I never have to do any assignments 3 times ever again!

PACKERS WIN!!!!!!

Well, I just got done watching the Packers beat the Vikings which was awesome! The game was closer than it should have been though, the Packers should have won by at least two touchdowns, but they had so many penalties. Adrian Peterson is one amazing running back, whenever he touches the ball he has a good chance of scoring a touchdown. I thought that Aaron Rodgers did great for his first NFL start and I hope he has many more to follow.
